For over twenty five years we have been restoring and conserving decorative antiques and frames. Most often this includes the removal of previous poor quality restoration work that may have been acceptable thirty or forty years ago. We are renowned for our knowledge and experience in working with decorative, gilded and painted objects.

Mark’s reputation has been built on his understanding of design history, the manufacturing techniques and use of materials over the years, the different styles and the quality of execution. His eye for excellent proportions, materials, quality of construction and overall design, ensures the studio is able to restore, replicate or conserve to a very high standard.

We can undertake most aspects of restoration and conservation related to gilded, decorative and painted items.

We have vast knowledge of working with mirrors and gilt-wood furniture and frames.
